The first clip from the live event!

by Griff

Back in October, my friend Bob Murnahan and I did a live clinic here in So. Cal. Here’s a clip of us jamming for a while during that show. Check out Mr. Spunk burning it up at about 7:20 in… you never knew he had it in him :)

Griff it has always been my pleasure to here good music and you guys were tight on that occassion, sorry I missed the one Nov. 14th, prior enguagement. The offer remains open, if you want to try out one of the 50 or so, let me know. I COULD USE SOME FEEDBACK ON SOME OF THESE TELE COMBINATIONS I’M work n on, or you can play the guitar hero’s guitar, Marc signed the front for me, and those two custom Taylors would be my best guess. I got THE EDGE’S 76 Exploader, and a few other artists guitars, when can I have one of yours? lol You take care my friend, wishing you and yours a very merry christmas and a happy new year.

Emilio (Emi UK) December 17, 2009 at 8:10 am

All I can say is WOW!

I would like echo Cyberthrasher comments

Your BBG course has made be a better player in such a short period of time. I realize there is so much to learn, but I can’t actually believe the stuff I am playing now.

I think anyone that is serious about blues guitar at any level could learn an awful lot from your courses

Wayne December 17, 2009 at 11:45 am

I am so jealous. This truly makes me want to practice til I drop.

Rob Green December 21, 2009 at 1:51 am

Hi Griff ,
Just watched the jam , very impressed , loved the cool jazzy passages you both played . I’m a drummer also I liked the player you had , he had a nice relaxed style and did some tasteful fills. Just waiting for the blues dvd course to arrive .

Best wishes

Rob Green ( Adelaide ) South Australia .

David Gatch December 22, 2009 at 9:38 pm

Awsome, Griff!!! \"Help the Poor\", one of my favorite tunes. It took me a moment to recognize it! Recently ordered Blues Guitar Unleashed and am enjoying your approach. Thanks.

mike preston January 21, 2010 at 3:45 pm

really well composed,great jam!

Greg S January 27, 2010 at 5:22 pm

I had no idea what I was going to find on here (linked from facebook), but I was pleasantly surprised by this video. Nice jam! Both guitars were good but the guy on the left has a real voice to his playing. Very supportive drummer too. That was not a bad way at all to spend a random 8 minutes.

mike hron February 7, 2010 at 2:52 pm

Nice jam! I hear some ” Black magic Woman” & “The Thrill is Gone” mixed in there!

JAMES CRAWFORD February 8, 2010 at 12:49 pm

hey griff that was a nice video, great tone and real tasteful clean playing, i am a country music artist, lead singer/ rhythm player{acoustic} mainly i just got your dvd lessons and look forward to them , you explain the guitar better and more completely than anyone i have ever studied under, while in nashville i took lessons from former lead player and band leader for ricky nelson{denny sarokin} i learned alot from him fingerpicking wise and look forward to developing whatever soloing prowess i can obtain with the blues from you , thanks a million and look forward to your e- mails, stay safe, in him , buddy crabtree

Mike February 22, 2010 at 5:04 pm

Really…who wouldn’t like to accomplish what you guys have! Loved the sounds of the guitars, exactly
what amplification, effects set ups do you guys have? What brand guitars are those? That’s the kind of
music I like to listen to and am trying to play. I’m pratcising with the online vids when I have a chance,
( work shift work) don’t have a whole lot of time. I use some of the blues chords with my gospel music too.
