Need some cheap microphones for singing. Which ones are decent?

I am tired of folks using my good mics and treating them badly or breaking them. So I am looking for some decent cheap mics I can use for Karaoke night and for folks who show up without a mic. I see Monoprice has some for $25. Has anyone used them? Can you recommend others to consider?

I have half a dozen Digital Reference DRV100 mics that I got at Guitar Center. I think that's a house brand. They're Shure SM58 clones and they sound good enough that I sold my SM58s. GC runs them on most holiday sales. Right now, on the GC website they're having a buy one, get two free sale for $49, which beats the best deal I got at $19 each.

I always thought that as well, but these animals have just broke my second Sure SM58. I don't want to give them another one.

I've literally hammered nails with SM57/58 mics - they ARE animals!!!

I bought a AKG D8000M Dynamic Vocal Microphone as a backup for my SM57 ... to keep wear and tear off of my old reliable SM57.
It is a very good sounding mic. I got mine on sale for around $20.00

I've got one of those myself, as well as one of the Monoprice ones. Never owned an SM58, so I can't say how they compare, but I can't tell the difference between the DR and the Monoprice ones.

I went over to my local Guitar Center and they gave me the website deal. $54 with tax for three mics is a great deal. They sound fine. Not as good as my EV mics, but at 1/6 of the price, they are perfect for the job. Three of the four people behind the counter at Guitar Center say they own and use these mics. That says something. Thanks for the heads up.

I got my AKG D8000M for $20 a couple years back on a Christmas Sale I think, I don;t sing much but it's been working for me.

Samson has SM58 clones cheap and they're really close to the Shures.
