Strumming and Rhythm Mastery

Not knowing your goals or where you are now ....

Yes

Rhythm in general before blues rhythms specifically.

It'll be foundational and benefit all aspects of your playing in various styles.

But maybe not if you're already an "accomplished" player and only want to spice up your blues playing.

Maybe check out the course descriptions in the catalog and decide which would be more appropriate for you.

No one knows your needs better than you.

The first half of BGU is on rhythm and the second half goes into soloing.

So you’ve already got the basics of blues rhythm playing. “52 Rhythms” would be a natural extension.

“Strumming” would get you more into strumming chords in a variety of styles.

Continuing with BGU will introduce scales and soloing technique.

My advice is to always go where your interests take you.

And keep in mind that ALL of Griff’s lessons, regardless of objective, are RHYTHM lessons.

(The last example in “52 Rhythms” puts it all together and is actually a backing track used in Griff’s “Slow Blues Supplement” course.)
