Hello,
I am just getting started on the licks in The House Pattern course. In the first couple of licks where the 2nd is bent a half or a whole step, should the B string get muted at the top of the bend, just release the string at the top of the bend or ride it up and down? Thanks!

Yes, you will usually “choke” the note off at the top of the bend after it’s allotted time.

If you are to bend and release (ride it down) you’ll see notation as in Lick 4 in Section 3 with an arrow showing the bend coming back down.

Also occurring in Licks 1 & 4 in Section 5.
